Keeping your kids toys out of sight

We all love seeing our kids learning to play with their toys by themselves, but seeing the toys all over the house is another story.  Containing your kids toys to a confined room or space is key to having a clean and organized home.  We recently converted our garage into a playroom and it's the best investment we have done.  We knocked down a wall to the outside and added french doors that lead to the playground and added the very important air conditioning; we live in Miami!!  But if you don't have an entire room to dedicate to TOYS don't worry! All you need to do is buy a shelving unit similar to this one I got from IKEA and some baskets like these from The Container Store. Other great places that have baskets are Michaels, T.J. Maxx, and Marshalls -- just make sure they go along with your house decor. Since these are placed in a playroom I chose them in pink but if not I would have used a seagrass basket. I promise your kids will play with more toys if they are able to see everything they own.  Perfect the CLEAN UP song (warning: this will get stuck in your head) and have your kids help you put all the toys away.
